Möcht no-n-es Bitzeli läbe
Three readings of the text
Who might use this: conductors, performers, composition students, and curious listeners
Before composing Möcht no-n-es Bitzeli läbe, I sought the help of some Swiss-German friends, who provided me with wonderful recordings of the poem as they read it different ways. These poetry readings guided my creativity and informed many of the decisions I made for the melody and rhythm. I thought it would be interesting to share these here for anyone curious about the creative process, and these recordings can also serve as a helpful pronunciation guide for performers.
