Lesson Plan: Exploring identity through choral singing and visual art, incorporating First People's Principals of Learning

This lesson plan was developed by Dr. Andrea McComb, Christine Lafond, and Diana Clark; Blakeburn Elementary School, Port Coquitlam BC.

The project uses hawley’s “Earth Voices” and “The Sun is Mine” as anchoring works from which to explore personal and cultural identity, personal awareness and responsibility, social consciousness, creativity, critical thinking, and communication.
